Bowling no-ball is a crime, especially in the limited-overs format. In one-day and T20 internationals, a batter gets a free hit when the bowler oversteps the popping crease. A batter can take full advantage of such freebies as he looks to go for the maximum. Bowling no-ball is not avoidable but it can be controlled but few bowlers have overstepped most number of times in the shortest international format and they feature in this article.

3. Richard Ngarava (10)

Zimbabwe’s seamer Richard Ngarava has delivered the third most no-balls in the history of T20 international cricket. The pacer has bowled overstepped the crease ten times in his career so far. The 25-year-old Zimbabwean has played 31 T20I matches and taken as many wickets. He has leaked 876 runs in 112 overs at an economy rate of 7.82.

2.Hasan Ali, Keemo Paul, and Oshane Thomas (11)

Pakistani pacer Hasan Ali and the West Indian duo of Keemo Paul and Oshane Thomas have bowled the second most no-balls (11) in the T20I format. In 50 games, Pakistan speedster Hasan has picked up 60 scalps. He has leaked 1414 runs in 169.1 overs at an economy rate of 8.35.

Caribbean All-rounder Keemo Paul has featured in 23 matches and snared 25 scalps. The right-arm fast-medium bowler has conceded 700 runs in 77 overs at an economy rate of 9.09. Another West Indian right-arm fast bowler Oshane Thomas has taken 21 wickets in 20 T20Is. The 25-year-old has leaked 602 runs in 64 overs at an expensive economy rate of 9.40.

1. Arshdeep Singh (14)

India’s young left-arm bowler Arshdeep Singh now holds the unwanted record of delivering the most no-balls in T20 internationals. The 23-year-old has put his foot wrongly 14 times on the crease. In 23 matches, Arshdeep has picked up 33 wickets. He has conceded 635 runs in 75.1 overs at an economy rate of 8.44. The seamer went past the above trio by bowling five no-balls in the Pune T20I against Sri Lanka recently.
