IPL 2025: Delhi Capitals full schedule
Delhi Capitals (DC) had a shocking release from their squad ahead of Indian Premier League 2025 mega auctions. They let go of their prized possession and skipper Rishabh Pant, which became the talk of the town. On the other hand, they retained four players in the form of Axar Patel (Rs 16.50 Crore), Kuldeep Yadav (Rs 13.25 crore), Tristan Stubbs (Rs 10 crore), Abhishek Porel (Rs 4 crore).
DC had a nominal purse value, but the franchise got hold of big fishes, KL Rahul, for INR 14 crore, and Mitchell Starc for INR 11.75 crore. Another fiery opener, who grabbed eyeballs in his debut season of IPL, Jake Fraser-McGurk was eventually brought back via RTM for INR 9 crore. With a new leader in KL Rahul, the Capitals will hope to end their trophy drought and will commence their campaign against Lucknow Super Giants at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Vizag on March 24.
