IPL 2025: Mumbai Indians full schedule

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released the schedule of the much-awaited Indian Premier League 2025 on February 16. The tournament will commence with a clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on March March 22. On the other hand, five-time champions, Mumbai Indians will play their first game on March 23.

They will play match 3 of the tournament against Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. It is worth noting that, the IPL 2024 season was a forgettable one for the Mumbai franchise as they found themselves at the bottom of the table with just four wins in 14 games. The franchise managed to retain most of its core group ahead of the auction and made some interesting purchases at the table.

They retained their star players and the well-nurtured core Indian group in the form of former skipper Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, and captain Hardik Pandya. Their top takeaway from the auction was purchasing Trent Boult for INR 12.5 crore and Deepak Chahar for INR 9.25 crore despite a slim purse.
