Team India 2023 schedule: Full list of upcoming matches, series and tournaments

At the halfway mark of 2023, Team India will now be focussing on the biggest event of this year. India is all set to host the upcoming 2023 ODI World Cup format. England are the defending champions while the hosts will be aiming to repeat their 2011 glory. Apart from the mega tournament, there are a few other series that India is slated to play. West Indies v India (away): July – August 2023
Following a break after the 2023 IPL and the WTC Final against Australia, India is set to engage in a comprehensive series in the West Indies. This series will comprise of two Test matches, three One Day Internationals (ODIs), and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). Additionally, the team will partake in two extra T20Is in Florida. Ireland v India (away): August 2023
The Indian team will travel to Ireland to play three T20Is. All three fixtures will take place at The Village, Malahide.

Asia Cup 2023 (away) – September 2023
The highly anticipated Asia Cup, set to be hosted by Pakistan in 2023, has raised significant speculation. The ongoing tensions between the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have raised doubts regarding India’s participation. BCCI Secretary and President of the Asia Cricket Council, Jay Shah, has proposed the idea of relocating the tournament to a neutral venue, adding an intriguing twist to the unfolding narrative.
India v Australia (home) – September 2023
Australia is set to return to India for a three-match ODI series as part of their preparation for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup the following month.
ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 (home) – October – November 2023
India will host the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup as the sole venue for the first time in 2023. They aim to win the tournament for the first time since 2011.
India v Australia (home) – November – December 2023
Australia is scheduled to play a five-match T20I series in India, marking their third tour of the country in the year. This series will take place after the conclusion of the World Cup.
India v South Africa (away) – December 2023 – January 2024
India will wrap up their year with an exciting series in South Africa that will extend into the new year. The series includes two Test matches, three ODIs, and three T20Is. Earlier this year, India faced defeat in the Test series against South Africa, but they emerged victorious in their recent limited-overs series against the Proteas held in India.
