Star West Indian batsman Brian Lara (L) sweeps at a ball from Glen McGrath in the Federation test at the Sydney Cricket ground, 02 January. After a promising start by batsman Sherwin Campbell and Wavell Hinds, Lara’s dismissal for 35 was the beginning of another batting collapse for the West Indies.
