IPL 2022: CSK vs PBKS Preview – Kings collide for the 2nd time in the season
After beating the five-time champions, the defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will on the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in their next group stage encounter to be played at the iconic Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on April 25 (Monday). As mentioned above, CSK are coming to the encounter after winning their previous match, but Punjab Kings (PBKS) lost their previous match against the Delhi Capitals.
Talking about the standings in the points table, CSK are placed ninth on the points table with just two wins in five matches. The Yellow Army have lost their matches against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Gujarat Titans (GT), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), and PBKS.
PBKS, on other hand, are just one spot above the defending champions with three wins in seven matches. Punjab Kings have lost their encounters against DC, SRH, GT, and KKR. However, they came out victorious against MI, CSK, and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). PBKS after losing their previous match might want to tinker with their playing XI for the upcoming match. However, CSK is expected to use the same playing XI just like their previous match.
