IND vs HK Review: Suryakumar blazes away as India trounce Hong Kong
India have qualified for the Super 4 stage of the 2022 Asia Cup with a comfortable victory over Hong Kong in Match 4 of Asia Cup 2022 by 40 runs. Chasing a score of 193 was always going to be tough for the Hong Kong side but they did have a few positives from the game.
Babar Hayat top-scored with 41 while Zeeshan Ali and Scott McKechnie tried their hearts out in the end for the Hong Kong side. However, the Indian spinners were on the money while the two young seamers in Avesh Khan and Arshdeep Singh, were taken to the cleaners which will worry the Indian skipper.

Earlier in the game, India posted a massive total on the back of Suryakumar Yadav’s (68*) and Virat Kohli’s (59*) unbeaten fifties. The duo added a massive 98 runs in an unbeaten partnership which proved to be game-changing. Rohit Sharma was dismissed for 21 while KL Rahul could not get his strike rate up, ending with a 39-ball 36. However, Suryakumar managed to cut loose with some fascinating shots while Kohli looked at his best too.
