India’s complete schedule in 2022
Team India, which is currently in South Africa for three Tests and as many ODIs, have a packed schedule in 2022. The team will play Tests in Johannesburg and Cape Town, followed by three ODIs in Paarl and Cape Town between January 19 to 23 before flying back.
Upon their return to India, the team will face West Indies (three T20Is and ODIs each) and Sri Lanka (two Tests and three T20Is) in February-March, before the 2022 edition of the IPL, which will be followed by South Africa’s tour of India for five T20Is between June 9 to June 19.
Later, India will travel to England to play the rescheduled fifth Test from the 2021 series, apart from three T20Is and ODIs between July 1 to July 17. The T20 Asia Cup in Sri Lanka and the T20 World Cup in Australia will follow in the September-November window, with a home series against Australia comprising four Tests and three T20Is slotted as well.

Towards the fag end of the year, India will travel to Bangladesh for two Tests and three ODIs in November and will return to host Sri Lanka for five ODIs in December. All Tests will be a part of the second cycle of the World Test Championship and ODIs a part of the ICC ODI Super League (except the upcoming South Africa ODIs).
