Washington Sundar lets the world know of India’s throw-down specialist ‘Raghu’

Indian team’s throw-down specialist, Raghavendra Dwivedi aka Raghu, was stopped by the Nagpur police from entering the Radisson Blu Hotel as the team reached the city for the first ODI against England, to be played on February 6. The police failed to recognise the veteran, who stepped down from the team bus with the players, and mistook him for an intruder.

The video journalists present at the venue shouted to let the officers know about the identity of Ragu and exclaimed ‘he is coach’. However, the jovial coach handed the situation with decorum and the matter was resolved. Washington Sundar took to his ‘X’ account and shared to the world picture with Raghu and captioned ‘Our own’.
