WI vs IND: 2nd T20I Preview – India aim to seal series victory
Team India will look to seal the series after a comfortable victory against West Indies in the first T20I. Back-to-back games in two days means that neither of the team will get to fret much over the result of the first match. Yet, West Indies will need to do some serious soul searching after a shambolic batting performance meant that they could never realistically challenge the visitors. The Indians too will expect better from their batters after some disappointing performances in the first game.
The same pitch will be used for the second game in Lauderhill as well, which means that it is likely to be another low scoring affair. Spinners will be in action and the pacers too could exploit the variable bounce on offer. There are likely to be some changes in both the sides and it will be interesting to see how the new arrivals change the complexion of the match. With the unpredictability of the mercurial West Indies unit, who have some serious firepower in their ranks, Team India simply cannot afford to let their guards down.

Team News
West Indies
With the talent in their batting ranks, the West Indian players simply did not show much application in their game during the first T20I. Skipper Carlos Brathwaite asserted that with a score of around 130-135, they could have posed a bigger threat to India. Knowing the conditions better, the team management would want the players to execute the plans in a more effective manner. If the batsmen do not up the ante, they will have a tough time challenging the mighty Indian batting unit.
India
While the team management will be happy with the bowling performance, the batting still looked a bit edgy in the opening T20I. Chasing a low score, the Indian team should have been much more commanding in their batting performance. This will be an area of concern for India as West Indies have the ability to quickly turn things around. If India are to chase a big score around this time or set a total on the board, will the batters be able to put up a better showing?
Key Players
Kieron Pollard (West Indies): Pollard was the only West Indian batter to show an ability to stick it out in tough conditions. If not for his innings of 49, the Caribbean outfit were in serious danger of embarrassing themselves. As the veteran member of the squad, the pressure will once again be on him.
Navdeep Saini (India): It was a dream debut for Saini who scalped up 3 wickets. His pace was a serious threat to the Windies and he will again look to trouble a susceptible batting order with his aggressive brand of bowling.
