Jos Buttler (824* runs)
Rajasthan Royals (RR) batter Jos Buttler has been in impressive touch in IPL 2022. The right-handed batter has stroked 824 runs in 16 matches at an average of 58.86. He has already stroked four hundreds. The hard-hitter batter will be seen in action in the final match of IPL 2022 and can also surpass the second name on the list (David Warner).
David Warner (848 runs)
The pocket dynamite David Warner comes second in the list. Warner captained the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise in the ninth edition of the Indian Premier League. The left-handed batter played with excellent consistency and amassed 848 runs in 17 innings at a superb batting average of 60.57. Currently, Warner is representing the Delhi Capitals (DC) franchise in IPL.
Virat Kohli (973 runs)
Run-machine Virat Kohli had an excellent IPL season in 2016. The right-handed batter had not scored a single IPL century heading into the season. However, that changed very quickly during the IPL 2016 as the prolific batter amassed 973 runs in just 16 matches with four centuries. He was only 27 runs behind to breach the 1,000-run landmark, but he failed to perform well in the last two matches. His franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) reached the final of the tournament but failed to win the title.
