5 women’s cricketers who can shine in The Hundred

The Hundred

The Hundred is the latest and most innovative format to be a part of cricket. The English Cricket Board will be playing out this experimental format this English summer. The teams will feature both men’s and women’s teams. Here are five women’s cricketers who can put out solid performances.

5. Beth Mooney (Welsh Fire)

Currently ranked No. 2 batter in the ICC Women’s T20I ranking, the hard-hitting Australian wicketkeeper-batter Beth Mooney is a perfect fit for such formats. In her 58-match T20I career, Mooney has 1554 runs at 36.13. Representing the Perth Scorchers, Mooney finished as the leading run-scorer in the Women’s Big Bash League 2020-21, with a whopping 551 runs at a stellar average of 55.10 with four half-centuries from 14 games.
