Aakash Chopra gives a classy reply to James Neesham’s jibe
Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra is famous for his commentary and his analytical views which he airs regularly. The cricketer has been involved in many controversies where his own cricketing record brought up for debate, however, he knows how to respond to them. The latest in this series in New Zealand all-rounder James Neesham.
Neesham is currently playing in his second IPL season. He is representing King XI Punjab this year and has had forgetful outings. He has faced only seven balls in the tournament thus far off which he has scored seven runs. With the ball, he has delivered 10 overs in which he has conceded 105 runs while taking one wicket.
Aakash Chopra criticised Neesham’s performances in the tournament thus far by saying the all-rounder is not a match-winner. When a Twitter user brought up this to Neesham’s notice, the Kiwi cricketer ridiculed Chopra for his IPL numbers.
Averaging 18.5 striking at 90 doesn’t win many matches either 😂😂😂😂 https://t.co/qNmotRL0WT

Chopra gave a befitting reply to the all-rounder.
Correct my friend. That’s why nobody picks me anymore. I get paid for doing something else 😇🤗 I’m glad that you don’t have an issue with my observations but with my cricket stats. Go well for the rest of the #IPL. https://t.co/FFuYAyFtMZ
