AUS vs IND: 3rd Test Preview – On-field action returns amidst off-field controversies

Australia and India will square off against each other in the New Year’s Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground starting from 7th of January. While the first Test in Adelaide was the one to forget for the Men In Blue, they made an impressive comeback at the MCG with an 8-wicket victory.

With the series level at 1-1, both sides would be eager to take a lead before going into the final Test in Brisbane. Shubman Gill looked brilliant with the willow as an opener and he’s expected to continue the same momentum going forward in this series. He’s expected to see the new ball, which can help India in putting up a big score on the board.

With both sides all set to make changes to their XIs, we are all set to witness a thrilling five-day affair at the scenic SCG. India would be aiming to win this contest in order to retain the Border Gavaskar Trophy. For Australia, it’s all about staying ahead of India on all five days to bag a win.
