Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s hilarious take on Virat Kohli’s alternate career

Veteran India pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has recently spoken about star batter Virat Kohli, stating that the former India skipper could have taken up a career in WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) if did not go on to become a cricketer.

The 33-year-old went on to say that Kohli thinks he is the best bowler in team India and they’re afraid that he could get hurt whenever he bowls.

“He would have been a wrestler if he was not a cricketer,” Bhuvneshwar said at the CEAT awards event.

“Virat Kohli thinks he’s the best bowler in the team. We’re always scared when he bowls as he could get injured due to his bowling action,” he added.

Kohli will next take part in the forthcoming Asia Cup as he was included in the 17-man squad. The six-team Continental championship is scheduled to be contested in Pakistan and Sri Lanka from August 30 to September 17.

Meanwhile, Bhuvneshwar Kumar is not anywhere in team India’s plans. He last played in a T20I against New Zealand in November 2022. The veteran did, however, play for the 2016 (Indian Premier League) champions Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2023.
