England have named a 14-member squad for the three-match ODI series against South Africa. The series will be played in January 2023. Star pacer Jofra Archer would be returning to action for the first time since March 2021. Archer, who has missed a lot of action owing to his elbow injury, is recovering well. He is most likely to feature in playing XI against South Africa.
It has been reported that Reece Topley is well on road to recovery from his left ankle injury. He is also expected to be fit for the 50 over games. Harry Brook, who has been impressive for England lately, has received his maiden call-up in ODIs. In another significant development, Ben Duckett has returned to the ODI set-up after six years. The first match of the series would be played on January 27 in Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein.
