Knight riders

Kolkata Knight Riders surged to their third victory in IPL 2020 as they defeated Chennai Super Kings by 10 runs in a thrilling encounter played out in Abu Dhabi. After getting all out for 167, KKR looked out of the game with CSK posting a good score in their first 10 overs. However, Kolkata bowlers snatched the victory for the franchise. From the batting department, Rahul Tripathi gave the biggest contribution as he scored 81 runs from 51 balls. He received a special message for his performance.

KKR owner and one of the most famous Bollywood personalities Shah Rukh Khan appreciated the performance handed out by his team. He was in attendance for this game and shouted out praises for Rahul Tripathi while the batsman was receiving his Player of the Match award. Shah Rukh’s character in most of his films is named ‘Rahul’ and his dialogue ‘Rahul, naam toh suna hi hoga’ is widely popular. The actor was referring to the same when he congratulated the Kolkata opener.

Tripathi acknowledged the praise from his own Twitter account later.
