List A cricket is termed the limited-overs (one-day) form of cricket for both international and domestic competitions being played in a country. The 50-over format requires a batter to get his eyes in and then look to play a big and impactful knock for his/her team. Here are three batters with the highest List-A batting average.

3. Babar Azam (56.16)

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam comes third with an average of 56.16 in List-A format. The right-handed batter has amassed a total of 7358 runs in 153 matches with his strike rate being 87.29. The Pakistani skipper has also stroked 37 fifties and 27 centuries in the 50-over format with his highest score being 158 runs. He has also scalped a total of 12 wickets in the List-A format.

2. Virat Kohli (56.50)

Team India star batter and former skipper Virat Kohli come second in the list with an outstanding average of 56.50. Talking about his numbers in the List-A format, the right-handed batter has played a total of 296 matches and has already scored 13,786 runs at an average of 56.50. Kohli has also smashed 72 half-centuries and 47 hundred in the 50-over format.  Kohli also has an excellent strike rate of almost 93 in the List-A format.

Team Australia’s legendary batter Michael Bevan comes first in the list with an emphatic average of 57.32 in the List-A format. The right-handed batter played his domestic cricket for New South Wales, but his true talent was witnessed in the international arena. The right-handed batter played 427 List-A games and scored 15103 runs. He has also stroked 116 fifties and 13 centuries in the 50-over format of the game.
