3) 143 – Shoaib Malik

Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik sits in third place in the list of players with the highest individual scorer in the ODI format of the Asia Cup. Malik achieved the feat against India in the 10th game of the tournament in 2004. Scoring 143 runs in 127 deliveries, Malik helped his side post 300 runs on the board and eventually won his team the game as well.

2) 144 – Mushfiqur Rahim, Younis Khan

Bangladesh’s Mushfiqur Rahim and Pakistan’s Younis Khan are tied in second place as both batters scored 144 runs in 2018 and 2004 respectively. Younis Khan scored 144 runs in 122 deliveries against Hong Kon, whereas Rahim scored 144 runs in 150 deliveries against Sri Lanka in 2018.

1) 183- Virat Kohli

Sitting on top of the list, ace Indian batter Virat Kohli holds the record for the highest individual score by a player in the ODI format of the Asia Cup. Kohli lit the stage on fire against Pakistan in the 5th match of the tournament in 2012. Scoring 183 runs in 148 deliveries, Kohli’s knock was crucial to India winning the game by six wickets.
