Namibia recorded the highest total in ODIs by an associate nation in the 2023 World Cup Qualifier Play-off match against Papua New Guinea in Zimbabwe. Batting first, the Windies scored 374 courtesy of Nicholas Pooran’s (104 off 65 balls) unbeaten ton coupled with Brandon King and Johnson Charles’ vital innings. In reply, Teja Nidamanuru came all guns blazing and slammed 111 off 76 whereas skipper Scott Edwards scored 67 off 47, which steered the side to get on level terms with the Windies. With this, the Netherlands recorded the second-highest total by an associate nation. Eventually, the Netherlands won the one-over eliminator.

1. Namibia | 381 runs

Likewise, during the World Cup Qualifier Play-off in 2023, Namibia skipper Gerhard Erasmus led from the front as he hammered 125 off 113 and was aided by Nikolaas Davin’s 90 off 79. With this, Namibia posted the highest total in ODIs by an associate nation and comfortably beat Papua New Guinea by 48 runs.
