I am really proud of Anuj Rawat and Suyash Prahudessai: Glenn Maxwell

Royal Challengers Bangalore all-rounder and Australian star Glenn Maxwell named two players who have showcased top fielding efforts for RCB so far. He named Anuj Rawat and Suyash Prabhudessai as his top picks and said that even though the two do not have many runs to their name, their presence in the team has created a greater impact.

In RCB’s recent clash against the Delhi Capitals on Saturday, April 16, the players showed brilliant fielding efforts in order to restrict DC from chasing the score. Rawat and Prabhudessai displayed a sense of awareness in the game as they stopped many boundaries on the edge.

“I am really proud of two guys here, Anuj Rawat and Suyash Prabhudessai. Despite not getting too many runs around, they have still created a very positive impact on the game. I think that is really a key thing when you come to the side. I think even if you are not scoring runs or taking wickets, I still think you are having a positive effect. Those guys are continuing to do that.” said Maxwell on RCB Bold Diaries on Tuesday.

RCB have started off their IPL campaign really well with four wins in their bag

Anuj Rawat has opened in all the matches for RCB in this edition and has 129 runs in seven games. The youngster has not been able to perform much with the bat, but his skills have proved to be useful for the team. Suyash Prabhdudessai has played only two completed games for the side so far. He displayed great calm and composure during the game against DC when he formed a much-needed partnership with Glenn Maxwell in the middle.

Dinesh Karthik has been one of the best players in the RCB camp this season and has provided the team with some crucial match-winning knocks. Maxwell joined the camp late this season, but already has a half-century to his name as he smashed 55 runs against the Delhi Capitals punching seven fours and two sixes.

RCB has been performing really well in the season so far. With four wins from six matches, they have made their place in the top four of the points table and look forward to continuing their winning momentum.
