Pakistan batsman Babar Azam has also breached the top ten of the rankings on the ninth spot after his century in Pakistan’s historic home Test against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi. Indian skipper Virat Kohli maintains his top position in the batsmen’s rankings followed by Australian Steve Smith and New Zealand’s Kane Williamson.

Three Indians feature in the top ten of the batsmen’s rankings. Both Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane maintain their hold over the fourth and sixth spot respectively. David Warner sees his ranking drop by two spots to number seven after having a mediocre outing in the Perth Test.

In the bowling rankings, Pat Cummins maintains his stranglehold on the top spot followed by South African Kagiso Rabada. Neil Wagner after a string of consistent performances breaks into the top three. Mitchell Starc is the biggest gainer in the rankings, going up nine spots to number five.
