Iceland Cricket takes hilarious dig at Rawalpindi pitch

Iceland Cricket took a subtle jibe at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja with Pakistan finding themselves in a spot of bother in the ongoing first Test match against England at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Chasing a challenging target of 343, the hosts lost two wickets scoring 80 runs at the end of the fourth day’s play Assuming that there is a possibility of Pakistan losing the game on the final day, on the dead pitch, Iceland Cricket had a gag at the expense of Ramiz Raja as well as Pakistan Cricket.

Iceland Cricket went on to compare Pakistan’s situation to the 2008 global financial crisis in a hilarious manner by saying how everyone assumed they were financially stable in 2007 before the recession in the following year changed everything, literally.

With some crucial WTC points at stake, both sides would be leaving no page unturned in trying their level best to win this match. While things look a bit complicated for the English team in the points table, Pakistan still have some chances of making it to the WTC Final in June next year provided they showcase outstanding performances in the home Test series fixtures against England and New Zealand.
