IPL 2020: Sachin Tendulkar’s Game-changers from the Super Over day

18th October 2020 will remain a very special day for the Indian Premier League and T20 cricket. Not only we saw two matches ending in a super over but also witnessed one of those matches requiring another super over to be played. Sachin Tendulkar witnessed the unbelievable action and presented his game-changing moments in his latest Youtube video.

KXIP vs MI – An epic battle

Tendulkar was impressed by the way Quinton de Kock played a measured innings. In the end overs, Kieron Pollard smashed unbeaten 34 runs from 12 balls and with Nathan Coulter-Nile contributing alike, carried Mumbai to a strong total. Tendulkar noticed that Pollard is now taking an off-stump guard which improves his batting reach. Pollard’s flourish in the death overs was the game-changer according to the batting legend.

KL Rahul holds the Orange Cap for scoring the most runs in this season. Tendulkar was immensely happy with the temperament he has shown thus far. According to the maestro, Nicholas Pooran was a key wicket for Mumbai. The Master Blaster further stated that if Pooran shows enough dedication and works on his game, he will be a superstar for West Indies in the coming years.

Watching to Indian fast bowlers delivering the super over was a proud moment for Tendulkar. He praised Jasprit Bumrah for the yorker to get KL Rahul bowled. He reserved equal praise for Mohammed Shami’s bowling in the following over. The save by Mayank Agarwal at the boundary ropes and the run out effected by KL Rahul were crucial moments.

KKR vs SRH – Another thriller

Kolkata’s former captain, Dinesh Karthik played a knock of 29 not out from 14 balls which helped KKR post 163/5 in their first innings. Tendulkar observed that Karthik gets under the ball and uses the crease well and plays all around the field. His innings was the game-changer in Tendulkar’s opinion.

SRH opened their innings with Jonny Bairstow and Kane Williamson. Tendulkar thought that after Williamson’s wicket, Warner could have come out to bat at number three. The legend was mighty impressed with how Lockie Ferguson played. Playing without any excess baggage of past matches, Ferguson delivered a sensational spell. His bowled exceptionally well in the super over as well who was the game-changer for Tendulkar.
