Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad will play in the IPL 2021 League match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, which will bring an end to the Chennai leg. Both the teams have won their last match, but their standing in the league is quite different. Delhi have won three out of their four matches, and have looked in complete control so far.

Speaking of Sunrisers Hyderabad, David Warner and his side has lost three matches so far in this tournament, but they won their last match against Punjab Kings. Even though Delhi looks like a better team on paper and also considering recent form, Sunrisers have a decent edge over them in head to head. In 18 matches between these two teams, Hyderabad have won 11 while Delhi has won seven.

Stat Attack:

The last three matches at Chennai have been won by the team batting 2nd in IPL 2021.

Jonny Bairstow is 37 runs away from completing 1000 runs in the IPL.

Team News:

Sunrisers Hyderabad: It took Sunrisers three matches and a few combinations to get going in the IPL 2021. Hyderabad lost all their three matches and tried a few combinations but eventually, it took Kane Williamson’s entry into the side to make the luck go their way. T Natarajan’s injury will be big news for the team. But Siddharth Kaul, who played in the last match, bowled a good spell. Bhuvneshwar Kumar had left the ground after bowling three overs, so the Hyderabad team will have their fingers crossed on his injury as well. If he is fit to play, then Hyderabad is unlikely to make any changes in their XI.

Delhi Capitals: Delhi will be quite confident after beating the defending champions Mumbai Indians in their previous match in Chennai. They brought in Amit Mishra in the XI in that match and the leggie returned with a four-wicket haul. Having said that, Axar Patel has also returned to the squad and joined the bio bubble having recovered from COVID-19. It will be interesting to see if DC decides to get him straight into the team. It is more than likely that they will stick to the same team for this match as well.
