IPL 2022: MS Dhoni steals the show with unseen avatar in hilarious ad campaign

One of MS Dhoni’s features is his ability is to adapt to various situations of the game, and he showed off another different side of him through a hilarious avatar for the upcoming IPL 2022 promo. The legendary batter was retained by the franchise ahead of IPL 2022 by the Chennai Super Kings for INR 12 crore and has been named the skipper as well. The 40-year-old is a mastermind in getting the best out of his players and is still one of the best finishers in the game.

The Ranchi-born lad did not have the best of seasons last time with the bat in the league phase despite the team doing really well. However, when it mattered the most, Dhoni came up with an excellent quickfire cameo in qualifier 1 against the Delhi Capitals and got his side over the line. His experience is impeccable to any franchise and was recently part of the Indian setup in the T20 World Cup 2021 as a mentor.

Chennai Super Kings were very active in the IPL 2022 mega auction in terms of bringing most of their players from the previous edition and they roped in Ambati Rayudu, Dwayne Bravo and Deepak Chahar who have all done well for the franchise. The franchise has invested in Indian all-rounders like Shivam Dube as well and the overseas bowling will have to do the bulk of the job. They will play the season opener for IPL 2022 edition against the Kolkata Knight Riders on March 26 and all eyes will be on Dhoni and how he goes about his business with the bat.
