3) 116* Michael Hussey vs PBKS in Mohali in 2008

During just the second match of IPL history, Mr. Cricket took the tournament by storm with his sensational knock of 116* off 54 balls, smashing eight fours and nine sixes in his innings. Courtesy of his score, CSK posted a massive score of 240/5 in their allotted 20 overs. In reply, Punjab also put up a good batting show and scored 207/4 in the second innings and CSK won the match by 33 runs.

2) 117* Shane Watson vs SRH in Mumbai (WS) in 2018

Shane Watson once again proved his worth as a big-match player as he smacked a breathtaking 117* off 57 balls with the help of 11 fours and eight sixes in his innings during the final of IPL 2018 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. What makes Watson’s knock even more special is the fact that he took 11 balls to get off the mark. Courtesy of his knock, CSK chased down the target of 179 and won their third IPL title.

1) 127 Murali Vijay vs RR in Chennai in 2010

During Match 32 of IPL 2010, the crowd at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai witnessed one of the greatest matches in tournament history. After opting to bat first, CSK’s Murali Vijay played one of the greatest knocks ever scoring 127 off 56 balls smashing eight fours and 11 sixes in his innings. Courtesy of his knock, CSK posted a massive total of 246/5, the highest score at that time in IPL and went on to win the match by 23 runs.
