3. Bhuvneshwar Kumar (6)

Veteran Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar sits in third place on the list of bowlers with the most first over wickets. The 33-year-old took six wickets in the first overs back in the IPL 2016. The star pacer ended the tournament with the IPL purple cap with 23 wickets to his name in 17 matches.

2. Trent Boult (7)

Star New Zealand pacer Trent Boult sits in second with seven first over wickets to his name. Infamous for being lethal in the powerplay, Boult has been known to provide his side with early breakthroughs. The 33-year-old took seven first-over wickets in the IPL 2023 and brought Rajasthan Royals within touching distance of playoff qualification.

1. Trent Boult (8)

Once again, Boult features on the list. Sitting in first place with eight first over wickets, Boult tops the charts. The 33-year-old achieved this feat in the IPL 2020/21 season when he represented the Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians.
