Undoubtedly, scoring a hundred in itself is a big task and scoring daddy ones is only tougher as not every batter has the knack of converting big knocks into even bigger ones. On that note, we take a look at the top three Indian cricketers with the most 150-plus scores in Tests-

3) Sunil Gavaskar | 12

The former India cricketer was arguably at his best during his stint with the national team, producing magnificent knocks on multiple occasions. Having played 125 Tests, Gavaskar got 150-plus scores on 12 occasions and scored 10122 runs throughout his career. In addition to this, his Test career includes 45 fifties and 34 centuries at an average of 51.12 and his career-best was an unbeaten score of 236 runs.

2) Virender Sehwag | 14

Sehwag came across as an aggressive hitter even in the longest format, against the nature of it. The former India batter played 104 Test matches and garnered 10122 runs, with 23 tons and 32 half-centuries. Furthermore, in his list of centuries, he scored 150-plus scores on 14 occasions. Sehwag got his personal best against South Africa wherein he scored 319 runs in the first Test in 2008.

1) Sachin Tendulkar | 20

Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar rightfully takes the top spot in this elite list of cricketers as the India great scored over 150-plus on 20 occasions. The former right-hander got runs with ease and panache as he scored 15921 runs in 200 Test matches with the national team. Tendulkar has a record 51 centuries and 68 fifties in his account in Tests at an average of 53.78 and a personal best of an unbeaten 248 runs.
