Several batters have stroked excellent centuries in the T20I format for their country. However, some players have repeated the feat and went on to score more than one century in the shortest format of the game in international cricket. On that note, let us take a look top three teams with the most centuries in T20I cricket.

3. West Indies (5)

Two-time T20 WC champions West Indies find themselves in the third spot in this list. Two power-packed batters Universe Boss Chris Gayle and Evin Lewis are the major contributors to the Men in Maroon. While Lewis scored both centuries against India, Chris Gayle has achieved the feat against South Africa and England.

2. Australia (7)

The 2021 T20 World Cup winning team Australia has scored a total of seven centuries in the T20I format. Batters Aaron Finch, Glenn Maxwell, Shane Watson, and David Warner are the four contributors to the country. While Finch has smacked two hundred, veteran batter Shane Watson and Warner have stroked one each. Power-hitter Glenn Maxwell has contributed the maximum to the team’s effort with three centuries.

1. India and New Zealand (8)

Team India and New Zealand find themselves on top of this list after smashing eight centuries in the T20I format. For team India, KL Rahul, Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, and Deepak Hooda have achieved this feat in the international arena. Skipper Rohit has contributed a maximum (4 hundreds) followed by KL Rahul (2), Raina (1), and the latest entrant Hooda (1).

Talking about New Zealand, Brendon McCullum, Colin Munro, Glenn Phillips, and Martin Guptill are the four players to stroke hundreds for the Blackcaps. While Munro has scored three hundreds, former skipper McCullum and Guptill have two, followed by Glenn Phillips (1).
