They hold many team records across formats, including the most ODI wins, 589 in 972 matches at an impressive winning rate of 63.27. Out of those 589, Australia’s 257 wins came while chasing a target in ODI cricket. After India, they are only nation to record 250-plus wins while chasing in ODI history so far.

After successfully chasing a 279-run target in the second ODI match against South Africa in Ranchi on October 9, India became the first nation to win 300 ODIs while chasing. Now they are leading the chart with 301 wins in 1014 ODI matches so far. India have won 531 and lost 433 matches in their ODI history to date.
