Most runs for New Zealand in ODIs

The runners-up of the last two ODI World Cups (2015 and 2019), New Zealand, have produced some quality batters over the years. The Kiwis are known to play their cricket in the right spirit and in a true gentlemen’s way. In one-day internationals, few prominent players have topped the charts by scoring the most run for their country in this particular format.

Let’s take a look at the 3 players with the most runs for New Zealand in ODIs: (Top 3)

3.Martin Guptill (7346)

Martin Guptill has scored the third-most runs for the Kiwis in ODIs. Guptill has struck 7346 runs in 198 matches at an average of 41.73 and at a strike rate of 87.29. In 195 innings, the 36-year-old has smashed 18 centuries and 39 half-centuries with the highest score of 237*, which is the highest individual score for New Zealand and second overall after Rohit Sharma (264) in ODIs.
