3. Shaun George (49 matches)

South Africa umpire Shaun George comes third in this list after officiating in 49 T20I matches. He has also done umpiring duties in 56 ODI matches. and also in 17 T20I matches. George stood as the umpire last in a match between Hong Kong and Uganda. The latter won the match in a thriller by just four runs on July 17, 2022.

 2. Ahsan Raza (60 matches)

Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Ahsan Raza moved to be an umpire after retiring as a player. He made his first international appearance in 2009 in a series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The senior umpire has stood in 60 T20I matches and comes second in this list. To note, the official was shot during a terrorist attack aimed at the Sri Lanka squad. Raza has stood in as umpire in 40 matches and 12 Women’s ODI. His last international appearance was in a game between Pakistan and West Indies in June this year.

1. Aleem Dar (61)

Just like his countrymate Ahsan Raza, Aleem Dar also started his career as a cricketer, but it didn’t go well, and he shifted his focus to umpiring. Dar is now one of the prominent umpires going around and comes first in this list after standing in as many as 61 matches. His last T20I appearance was in April 2022 in a match between Pakistan and Australia.
