More than one thousand players register for IPL 2024 Auction

As many as 1,166 players have registered for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 auction that is going to be held in Dubai on Tuesday, December 19. However, star England pacer Jofra Archer, who was released by the Mumbai Indians, has not enrolled.

Some of the standout performers in the recently concluded ODI World Cup 2023 like Rachin Ravindra, Mitchell Starc, Travis Head, Pat Cummins, and Daryl Mitchell have registered their names for the auction to get a chance to play in the cash-rich league.

Those players, if they are interested in participating, will be automatically added to the roster. The BCCI has also asked the franchises to give a list of players from the Register that they would like to be included in the Auction. It has been conveyed to the teams that only 77 slots are to be filled, of which a maximum of 30 can be overseas players.
