He completed 13,000 runs in 341 innings and finished his career with 13704 runs to his name from 365 innings at an average of 42.03 with 30 hundreds.

2. Sachin Tendulkar (321 innings)

Tendulkar is arguably the greatest batter ever to have graced the 50-over format as he has several records to his name. The batting legend has the most number of runs and hundreds in the format as he accumulated 18426 runs from 452 innings at an average of 44.83 with 49 hundreds. Tendulkar completed 13,0000 runs in 321 innings making him rank second on the list.

1. Virat Kohli (267 innings)

Indian batting sensation Virat Kohli recently became the fastest batter to breach the 13,000-run mark achieving the milestone during the Super 4 fixture of Asia Cup 2023 against Pakistan. Kohli achieved the milestone in 267 innings becoming the fastest ever to achieve the landmark. The former Indian captain has 13037 runs to his name from 268 innings at an average of 57.38 with 47 hundreds. In the years to come, the Delhi-born batter is expected to climb higher in the list of highest run scorers in the format.
