IND vs AUS: 3rd T20I Preview – India eye series win in Guwahati

Having taken a 2-0 lead in the five-match series, India will be eager to seal it as they lock horns with Australia in the third T20I on Tuesday, November 28 at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati. The Men in Blue completed a comfortable 44-run win in the second game. India batted first and posted a mammoth total of 235/4 in their allotted 20 overs.

Yashasvi Jaiswal (53 off 25), Ruturaj Gaikwad (58 off 43) and Ishan Kishan (52 off 32) scored half-centuries. However, it was Rinku Singh who propelled India’s total past 230 with his unbeaten 9-ball 31 blitzkrieg. Ravi Bishnoi (3/32) and Prasidh Krishna (3/41) restricted Australia to just 191/9, each bagging a three-wicket haul.

After losing the second T20I, Australia have their back against the wall and will be desperate to make a comeback. They need to sort out their bowling which has been expensive in both the matches so far.

On the other hand, Suryakumar will lead India into the game high on confidence having won the first two matches. He will hope to inspire his side to replicate the stupendous performance in the third T20I.
