Sachin Tendulkar Foundation celebrates five years of transforming children’s lives

Today, the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation (STF) celebrated its fifth anniversary of dedicated service towards enhancing the lives of underprivileged children through initiatives in health, education, and sports. The milestone was marked by a heartfelt event in Mumbai, bringing together friends, family, well-wishers, and non-profit partners to reflect on the Foundation’s impactful journey.
The evening’s theme, ‘5hine Brighter Together,’ encapsulated STF’s mission to create a brighter future for children. A short film showcased the Foundation’s work, highlighting collaborations with over 15 NGO partners. These partnerships have been instrumental in reaching and positively affecting the lives of over 100,000 young individuals.
Sara Tendulkar, who recently assumed the role of Director at STF, expressed her enthusiasm for continuing and expanding the Foundation’s efforts. She stated, “Over the last five years, the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation has touched over a hundred thousand young lives, and that’s a hundred thousand reasons to keep going. I am grateful to everyone who believed in us and stood by our side to make this journey possible.”
The event also featured a conversation between Sachin Tendulkar and Coldplay’s Chris Martin, underscoring the global support for STF’s initiatives. Reflecting on the Foundation’s journey, Sachin Tendulkar shared, “When I walked back to the pavilion one last time, I had an inkling in my mind that my innings was far from over… The journey is in full swing and with Sara leading the way now, I am confident that STF will continue to transform million dreams into reality and give wings to the doers.”
As STF embarks on the next phase of its mission, the Foundation remains committed to empowering children and creating opportunities for them to thrive. The collaborative efforts with NGO partners and the dedication of the Tendulkar family continue to drive STF’s vision of a brighter, more equitable future for all children.
