R Ashwin reflects on delay in start of 3rd WI-IND T20I

The third T20I between the West Indies and India was off to a bizarre start as the start of the clash was delayed after the ground staff forgot to draw the 30-yard circle on the ground. It is worth noting that the umpires and players had already made their way onto the ground but had to walk back in after it was noticed.

As the game was delayed, it was a special occasion for 21-year-old Yashasvi Jaiswal as he made his T20I debut. He recently featured for India in his first-ever international game in the recently concluded Test series, and ahead of his T20I debut, many were excited to see Jaiswal play his first game in the T20I jersey.

Furthermore, with the delay in the game and the 21-year-old making his debut, Veteran Indian all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin took to Twitter to give his take on the delay situation and even congratulated Jaiswal ahead of his much-anticipated T20I debut.
