Rajasthan Royals looks to be an exhausted side: Saba Karim

Rajasthan Royals

Rajasthan Royals are currently struggling in the IPL 2021 where they have lost three matches on a trot and their next assignment comes no easy which will take place against CSK. Their chances of making it to the playoffs look meager and it will be a thing to see how they show up against MS Dhoni and his men. In the same light, former Indian cricketer Saba Karim added Royals look like an exhausted side.

Karim stated that whatever Rajasthan are trying, they are not able to make a turnaround and it might be because they are playing against their several match winners. Players like Jofra Archer, Jos Buttler, and Ben Stokes have not been able to make it to the UAE leg of IPL 2021.

I get the impression; Rajasthan Royals looks to be an exhausted side. They have tried whatever is possible but for some odd reason, they have not been able to perform to their potential. They are hard done by the fact that they are missing on out so many match-winners. Whoever they have played in their XI, they haven’t been able to perform to their potential,” said Saba Karim while speaking on Cricket.com’s Man vs Machine.

Big worry for Rajasthan Royals ahead of the game against CSK: Saba Karim

Karim further explained that their worries will only become more because they have to next play against a top side like CSK. The biggest matter of concern for RR has been the dismal patch of their star all-rounder Chris Morris. Morris, who has been roped in by Rajasthan with an extremely hefty price tag, has failed to bring magic even once on the table. Even Liam Livingstone’s form has been not up to the mark.

Big worry for Rajasthan Royals, because in the second leg, Chris Morris has not been able to perform wither with the bat or ball. Lam Livingstone came with a terrific reputation, he has not put up runs on the board. It’s up to Sanju Samson. how much a young lad like Samson shoulders responsibility. He did get some support in the last game with Evin Lewis coming back. That is not enough. Especially when you are playing CSK, you need to be at the top of your game. I don’t see that happening with RR,” he added.
