Reports: MS Dhoni to undergo tests in Mumbai for his knee injury

The IPL 2023 finally came to a fitting end with Chennai lifting the title for the fifth time. The IPL 2023 final saw a thrilling conclusion at Narendra Modi Stadium with a last-over thriller between CSK and GT. The MS Dhoni-led squad currently shares the title with the Mumbai Indians as the competition’s most successful team.

Following the IPL triumph, there have been reports that Dhoni is likely to undergo a knee injury. Throughout the IPL, there were multiple reports about the 41-year-old playing the matches with a knee injury. In fact, CSK head coach Stephen Fleming acknowledged the fact during one of his press conferences that the CSK skipper was dealing with a knee ailment.

There have been occasions where the former Indian wicketkeeper-batter was occasionally seen limping. During CSK’s lap of honor at Chidambaram Stadium, a photo of him wearing a kneecap got viral as well. As per reports by Revsortz, the former Indian skipper is set to get admitted to the famous Kokilaben hospital in Mumbai this week so that tests can be performed for checking the magnitude of his knee injury.
