As far as Rohit is concerned, he lent some words of wisdom for the young boys. The official Twitter handle of the Board of Control for Cricket in India also posted a few pictures where Rohit was seen talking to the India U19 team.

Rohit Sharma, in the meantime, has been ruled out of India’s three-match Test series against South Africa, starting December 26 at the SuperSport Park in Centurion. He was appointed as the vice-captain of the Test team, replacing Ajinkya Rahane, but a hamstring injury played spoilsport.

He has also replaced Virat Kohli as the ODI and T20I skipper of the Indian national team. The three-match T20I series against New Zealand was Rohit’s first assignment as the full-time skipper of the team.

Prior to that, he also led India in the absence of Kohli from the playing eleven. It remains to be seen if Rohit can get fit for the upcoming ODI series against the Proteas.
