Sachin Tendulkar shares his advice to son Arjun

Sachin Tendulkar has revealed the advice he gave to his son Arjun. Tendulkar is serving as the mentor for the five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI), and Arjun is also the part of Men in Blue and Gold. Arjun has already represented Mumbai at the domestic level and performed decently for the team.

However, he has not managed to make his IPL debut so far despite being a part of MI’s squad for the past two years. Arjun was bagged by MI for INR 30 lakhs during IPL 2022 mega auction.

‘Do not think about the selection part’ – Sachin advice to his son Arjun

“This is a different question [whether he would have liked to watch Arjun play this year]. What I am thinking or what I feel is not important. The season is already over,” Tendulkar said at a show ‘SachInsight’. He ( Arjun) should focus on his game and not think about the selection part. I don’t get involved in the selection process I leave that part to the management only.

“And my conversation with Arjun has always been that the path is going to be challenging, it is going to be difficult. You started playing cricket because you are in love with cricket, continue to do so, continue to work hard and results will follow,” added Tendulkar.

Meanwhile, the five-time champions had a pathetic season in IPL 2022 as they lost ten games in their 14 encounters and were knocked out of the competition during the group stage. They defeated the Delhi Capitals, defending champions Chennai Super Kings, new entrants Gujarat Titans, and Rajasthan Royals side in their 14 matches.
