The week gone by was tough one to comprehend. The #BlackLivesMatter campaign in the US invariably ended up giving a sneak peek of racism in sport. West Indies cricketer Darren Sammy voiced out his concerns over the alleged racism that he faced in India, and it immediately caused a whirlwind on the internet. Sammy found tremendous support from all corners, including his Caribbean teammate Chris Gayle and India cricketer Irfan Pathan.

However, Sammy’s recent tweet suggested that the cricketer and his Sunrisers Hyderabad teammates decided to let bygones be bygones.

A year after announcing his retirement from international cricket, former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh penned down a few words to thank his fans for supporting him over the years.

On a lighter note, yet another gem from the Dhoni household has made it to the internet, this time from the junior Dhoni’s Instagram account. A recent post on Ziva Dhoni’s page gave a glimpse of the former Indian captain’s life in lockdown.
