Even cricket hasn’t been spared with matches and tournaments being cancelled or postponed at a rapid rate. Like most of the world, cricketers have been stuck at home, which has allowed us to see a different side to their personality away from the heat of the action. Many have kept active on social media, keeping us updated with their daily happenings.

England legend Kevin Pietersen had a special guest during his Instagram live, with Indian skipper Virat Kohli joining him for a long and frank discussion. The pair have been good buddies since their time as RCB teammates and the camaraderie shined through during the chat. They discussed a variety of issues including their career, diet, the current ongoing situation around the world due to coronavirus and how privileged they were due to their respective positions as world-famous athletes. The Instagram live attracted a large number of viewers with fans getting to experience a different side of Kohli.

Warner shaves his head for a cause

Australian opener David Warner too, is trying his level best to spread awareness about the Coronavirus pandemic. Showing solidarity with the healthcare workers fighting a dangerous battle on the frontlines, Warner decided to shave his locks. He shared the video on his Instagram account, with many fans appreciating and praising his efforts.

Buttler auctions off his World Cup-winning jersey

Cricketers have acted as highly-respectable role-models during the pandemic and Jos Buttler has been no different. In order to raise some money for the NHS in England who are waging a tough battle, Buttler has decided to auction off his World Cup-winning jersey from 2019. The jersey is signed by all the members of the squad and Buttler hopes to raise as much money as possible for the NHS. A noble cause indeed!

New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson has used the opportunity of isolation to enjoy some special moments with his dog, Sandy. Williamson’s Instagram account recently has been buzzing with activities which he has been enjoying with his pet. The most recent post though will surely take the award as one of the most adorable videos on Instagram. In it, Sandy can be seen fielding at slips, showing off his abilities as a pure athlete!
