The Hundred: Here’s how Indian players performed in innovative format

The inaugural edition of The Hundred Women saw Oval Invincibles lifting the glorious title. Led by Dane van Niekerk, the Invincibles thrashed Southern Brave by 48 runs in the final clash to get the glory. The tournament certainly provided a lot of entertainment to the fans, with the contest between the bat and the ball being nothing but exciting. While several batters piled up big runs, many bowlers also made a mark.

Notably, the Hundred welcomed an entirely new version of cricket with 100-ball per-side matches being played. With the format offering several different dynamics, many fans and experts were intrigued to see how the tournament pans out. Not many of them were left disappointed with T20 stars from different parts plying their trade.

Here we look at how Indian players fared in The Hundred Women 2021

The swashbuckler was arguably the best Indian player in the competition. Playing for Northern Superchargers, Rodrigues unleashed her best show and delivered consistently.
