WI vs IND – How have current Indian ODI bowlers fared in Caribbean
After India’s clean sweep in the three-match T20I series, Virat Kohli’s men will step out for a three-match ODI series. Their first 50-over clash with the West Indian side will be on 8th August at the Providence Stadium, Guyana. India haven’t lost a series in the Caribbean since 2006. Amongst bowlers, fast bowler Ajit Agarkar takes the top place in the wicket-taking list. The tall bowler took 15 wickets in the 8 matches played in West Indies.
Here’s how India’s current bowlers have performed in the past tours.
Ravindra Jadeja

Receiving a new lease of life after being dropped from the ODI side for a long time, Ravindra Jadeja is again an integral part of the ODI squad. Although Jadeja is spectacular with the bat and in the field, he has not been very effective with left-arm spin. He has played six matches in West Indies and has remained wicketless on five occasions.
Mohammed Shami

India’s hat-trick man at the 2019 World Cup, Mohammed Shami has been exceptional in white-ball cricket for some time. With his express pace and ability to swing new and old ball, he is a very lethal weapon to have. So far, he has played two ODIs in West Indies and has one four-wicket haul.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar

One of India’s regular pace bowlers, Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s performance will be a key factor for India in Jaspreet Bumrah’s absence. The right-hander has played in five matches across two tours and has six wickets. He has been miserly in his spells as his economy rate suggests.
Kuldeep Yadav

After a miserable outing in the World Cup, the wrist-spinner will be eager to make a comeback in this tour. He played in the away five-match series in 2017 and snapped 8 wickets in four outings. The left-arm spinner took consecutive three-wicket hauls with best bowling figures being 3/41.
