Throughout his illustrious career spanning decades, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has added impressive cars to his collection. However, the Indian cricket legend still misses his first car – a Maruti 800.

Speaking to interviewer Mudit Jani in a special episode of ‘In the Spotlight’, Tendulkar revealed that he still feels emotionally connected to the first-ever car that he bought. But the Master said he doesn’t have the car with him anymore.

“My first car was a Maruti 800. Unfortunately, it is not with me right now. I would love to have it back again with me. So, people listening to me, feel free to contact and get in touch,” he said on the show.

Tendulkar is known to be an avid fan of cars and owns an enviable collection. His passion and love for automobiles started way back in his childhood. The former India captain revealed how he spent hours spotting exotic cars from the balcony of his house.

“There was a massive open drive-in movie hall near my house where people used to park their cars and watch the movie, sitting in it. So I, along with my brother, used to stand in our balcony for hours to watch those cars,” he said.
