Yuvraj Singh gives his best wishes to Stuart Broad

Veteran England pacer Stuart Broad has been honoured with numerous accolades over his glorious cricket career thus far. However, he has also held some unwanted records, one of which occurred during England’s 2007 ICC T20 World Cup match against India.

During the World Cup encounter, India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh hammered Broad for six sixes in one over, leaving all cricket fans flabbergasted.  It was undoubtedly a magnificent occasion for the Punjab-born cricketer, but it has since been a forgettable moment for the English cricketer.

With Broad poised to retire from Test cricket following the ongoing Ashes series against Australia, Yuvraj penned a heartfelt message for his most special rival. The 41-year-old took to Twitter and lauded the English paceman and shared a handful of photos with him during his playing time.

Stuart Broadreminisced about the incident that took place during the 2007 T20 World Cup after stunning the entire world on Saturday, July 29, by announcing his retirement post-day 2 play of the ongoing final Ashes Test. The 37-year-old acknowledged that it was a tough day for him, but it had taught him how to prepare for the sport at the top level.
