On the other hand, Zimbabwe will enter the series on the back of 8 consecutive T20I losses.

With that being said, let us take a look at 5 players to watch out for in the T20I series between Zimbabwe and Pakistan.

5. Sean Williams

Sean Williams is one of the greatest batsmen to have picked up a willow for Zimbabwe in T20I cricket. And, the numbers that he has generated in the T20I format confirm the same. The left-hander has aggregated 927 runs for the Zimbabwe side in T20Is and if he scores another 73 runs, he will become the second Zimbabwe willow wielder after Hamilton Masakadza to complete 1000 runs in T20I cricket.

4. Brendan Taylor

He has been one of the legends of Zimbabwe cricket. Brendan Taylor has been playing at the international circuit for almost a decade and a half now. Taylor missed the series between Zimbabwe and Afghanistan but will now be back in action for the series against Pakistan. With so much experience under his belt, Zimbabwe will look to Taylor to step up and tackle the Pakistan bowling attack.

3. Fakhar Zaman

Fakhar Zaman’s sensational 60 off just 34 deliveries allowed Pakistan to beat South Africa in a thrilling encounter at Centurion on 16th April 2021. The left-hander was in good form in the T20I series against South Africa. In the three innings that he played against the Proteas, Zaman scored 95 runs at an average of 47.50 and a whopping strike rate of 172.73.
