ENG vs IND: 3rd ODI Match Preview

Team India will square off against England in the final ODI of the three-match series in Manchester on July 17 (Sunday). England were excellent with the ball as they won the second ODI match by a margin of 100 runs.

England batting order is a cause of concern as they have not been able to convert their starts to a big score. Joe Root, Jason Roy, Ben Stokes and even Jos Buttler have not been able to perform in crunch situations. England lower-order, especially David Willey, played a crucial knock for the team and stitched a decisive partnership with Moeen Ali.

India, on the other hand, have the same problem. Batters Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Suryakumar Yadav and Rishabh Pant will want perform better in the third and final match of the series. The wicket at Manchester is expected to provide an equal contest between the bat and ball with skipper might opting to bat second.

England:

Despite not having a good outing in the last two matches, England will back their star batter Joe Root to play in the final match. Jason Roy will also want to have a good outing as he failed to capitalise the start he got during the second fixture.
